I have been building these instruments since 1989, and I have been a musician most of my life. I jumped into a musical career right out of high school and have been earning my living from musical performance since 1976. I have played my own instruments ever since I learned how to build them! So every Swanson Guitar or mandolin is built by a luthier who actually makes a living building and playing the instruments I sell. I know the needs of real musicians.
