I recently began building these Parlor guitars. I have studied these old style guitars for years, and learned much about them from
repairing and restoring a whole lot of them. I have developed a real liking for them so I've added them to the group of instruments
I offer.
They are quite small, with a 14 inch width across the lower bout and a 12 fret neck. I use a 24.9 scale. These guitars are
built with many of the features found on the original vintage guitars, like a slotted peghead and a rectangular bridge. I look to
the vintage guitars for my inspiration here.
These make great fingerstyle guitars, and are comfortable for small people.
