Meet the newest revision of this guitar,
the Fatboy Deluxe.

It's really very different from its Standard brother. It has lots of new features making it a very unique guitar, including, a fully adjustable neck joint.

The adjustable neck joint allows fine degree action adjustments by changing the neck angle from inside. This is possible with the strings on the guitar and in tune!

The Fatboy Deluxe also offers twin soundholes... no, this isn't stereo!... but this does allow re-designed top bracing. Gone is the traditional X-Bracing, it's been replaced with a more longitudinal bracing which is able to take better advantage of the sound board center area.

This area where the usual center-placed soundhole sits on most guitars, is a major sound producing area and it also helps support the top so the bracing can safely be made lighter, more responsive.

All of these things add to the ability
of the
Fatboy Deluxe
to produce
Big Sound.

Fatboy Deluxe features include -

Carbon-Fiber Reinforced Neck

Internal Carbon-Fiber Supports
at the Neck Block

Access End Panel

X-Braced Back

The base price for a Fatboy Deluxe is $2000.00

Fatboy Standard

Here is the Guitar that I call the "Fatboy Standard". It's short, has a 24.25" scale length while measuring 16 inches across the bottom bout. This makes it look short and fat but don't let that fool you!

I got the inspiration for the Fatboy guitar from an old Regal guitar that was made in Chicago in the 1940's. I've made many changes to the basic design and now I think it's a pretty unique guitar

The Fatboy is one of my favorite guitars to build and if you'd like to talk about having your own special little fatboy made, please drop me an email and we can talk about it!
