I call this model the "Cygnus", after the constellation "The Swan". It's a guitar of my own design with many new features. Some of
these features include a carbon-fiber reinforced neck with a Doolin-style adjustable neck joint, access panel, offset body shape and
a reversed neck angle with a floating fingerboard extension.
The neck has a 24.9 scale. There is a two-way trussrod. I build
them with one or two soundholes, and there is also a soundport in the side of the upper bout. The soundport allows the player to hear
the guitar a bit better, and tends to "open up" the sound of the guitar a bit also.
